"Confederation Bridge Sunset", PEI
This is a Digital Reproduction Print of my original Acrylic Painting on Canvas 12x16.
The Confederation Bridge joins the eastern Canadian provinces of Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick,
making travel throughout the Maritimes easy and convenient. The bridge spans the Abegweit Passage of Northumberland Strait. Before its official naming, Prince Edward Islanders often referred to the bridge as the "Fixed Link”. Construction took place from October 1993 to May 1997. The bridge opened on May 31, 1997.
The curved, 12.9 kilometre (8 mile) long bridge is the longest in the world crossing ice-covered water, and continues to endure as one of Canada’s top engineering achievements of the 20th century.
How could I not be inspired to paint the gorgeous landscapes in Prince Edward Island!!!
Available in 2 sizes: 8x10" and 11x14", both including a white border with artist signature and date for framing.
"Confederation Bridge Sunset" prints are packed in a cello sleeve against an archival mat board, shipped in a stay-flat mailer for safe travels to your door.
